Hydraulic Hydraulic a.k.a Michael Trommer has released a variety of audio-based projects and done extensive soundtrack work. Among them, as Manitou2 on the 1998 Metro Breaks Compilation on Nice n Smooth/Cleopatra and as hydraulic on the cutting edge Channel-Zero Video Series that aired in the U.S.A on CBC television. Freeworm Fueled by his studies into Electro-Acoustic music at Montreal's Concordia University, Vincent LeTellier has managed to conduct an ever evolving music project that integrates exotic instrumentation from a wide variety of local musicians and a resourceful sample based work environment. Solea Amphibia Sweden's Lars-Marcus Jungnell, presently signed to the UK's cutting edge dance/ambient label No Bones Records, is setting new standards for post-club chilled out techno. Jungnell's journeys through the far east and his love of computer music technology are reflected and contrasted in this hauntingly deep slab of after-hours electronica. Drift Cultivating adventurous sound expeditions since 1993, Adham Shaikh produces this latest single with guitar soundscapist Tim Floyd. The duo released their first self-entitled CD on Instinct Records in 1996. Snap Ant London artist James Morgan aka Omnium (Ntone Records UK) introduces us to his new solo project called Snap Ant. The Queen of No. 18 is kindly assisted here with bassist Nigel Fulcher. He continues to create music with his cutting edge music techniques well intact as well as pursuing his musical studies. Black Star Liner Black Star Liner, consists of Choque Hosein, Chris Harrop and Tom Salmon and together furrow new ground in a multi-cultural fusion of break beats and ambient-dub with tablas, sitars and "Bollywood" style soundtrack. The track Inverse featured here is taken from the 1996 EXP Records release Yemen Cuttah Connection. BSL's latest release Bengali Bantam Youth Experience has been released to critical acclaim on Warner/WEA. Arkin Allen & Jetone Technotribalhouse producer / DJ Arkin Allen has released music on Golden Horn Records under Mercan Dede since 1996. Collaborating here with Montreal ambient experimentalist Jetone a.k.a. Tim Hecker, the two have created a haunting piece of downbeat heaven. Lumo London musician Simon Poole has played on many fronts as an electronics and acoustics trumpet player for acts such as Orbital, Pentatonik, Dub Tribe, Mephisto Odyssey, and the Mellowtrons). Lumo is his new and evolving solo project upstarted in 1998 and has been quoted as a "stir-fry of Orbital and Massive Attack with a heavy seasoning of film soundtracks..." (Future Music). 'Interior Horizions', is another classic album in L.S.D's definitive downbeat series.
