This work is the first recording in the electronica field of London-based saxophonist Etmo who started to get his saxes into electronic sounds in 1997, playing live with DJs and musicians.
This album includes a 2 disc set, a CD (13 Tracks) and a DVD (10 videos).
Mixing analog and virtual sources, Etmo explores a melting pot of sounds and rhythms.
He writes eclectic beats, from moody bass lines to subtle breaks, including snippets from field recordings in Madagascar and recycled voices of friends and family.
Playing live soprano/tenor saxophones and ethnic flutes, he adds his jazz and ethnic influence to the songs. This work draws an entire soundscape.
Ten Videos have been specially created by 7 European visual artists to complete this first album project.
