All the Wrong Places (2008) by Recue
Recue is the work of Finnish musician/producer Riku Annala, and All The Wrong Places is the 18th release on Rednetic Recordings - a label that shares much the same philosophy as Californian experimental/electronic label n5MD.
The album promotes as subtle form of electronica, showcasing 9 fairly low-key instrumental tracks �" although certainly not ambient. Instead, dulcet tones flicker over crunchy beats and airy atmospherics; much of the music has a glitch-based texture running throughout the production.
